 United Health Strategies

nited Health Strategies uses the Project VAN acquired through a partnership with   the Self Development of People organization to reach out into St. Louis communities. We offer health and welfare programs and services to benefit all of our neighbors, including the refugees and immigrants that St. Louis welcomes from many countries, including Africa, Bosnia, and Mexico.

The van project is a partnership between UHS and the Self Development of People organization. The grant from S.D.O.P allowed UHS to purchase a pre-owned van. This asset allows us to go into the community with workshops and programs designed to strengthen the body, mind and spirit.  Fees collected through around town rentals create a revenue stream to offset program costs and operating expenses.
